Dog Training Classes
We offer group dog training classes for both puppy training and adult dogs at multiple class locations in Peachtree Corners, Alpharetta, and Roswell taught by our professional dog trainers.
Advance registration and proof of vaccination are required.

Peachy Puppy 101
Cost: $170 for 6 weeks
Who: Puppies between 8-30 weeks (we offer a class for younger puppies and one for older pups)
If you’ve recently brought home a new four-legged addition and want to get things started on the right paw, Peachy Puppy 101 is the perfect group class for you!
In just six weeks, we’ll cover all the basic training methods you need to lay the foundation for a happy, confident puppy that will grow up to be a friendly, well-socialized adult dog.
We keep the puppy class size small to ensure the safety and comfort of all our puppies, and to allow plenty of one-on-one attention for each family!
In addition to careful socialization and play with people and other dogs, we’ll cover:
- Tips & tricks for raising a happy and healthy puppy
- How to troubleshoot common puppy problems like nipping, chewing, potty training, crate training, and whining
- Basic cues including sit, down, come, touch, leave it, drop it, place, and stay.
- Preventing future behavior problems from developing
Note: Puppies must be up-to-date for their age on vaccinations in order to attend and will be require to present proof of vaccination, in addition to providing proof of a negative fecal test.
Family Dog 101
Cost: $180 for 6 weeks
Who: Dogs over 5 months of age
The Family Dog 101 group class is designed as an obedience training foundation for friendly, non-reactive dogs over 5 months of age, and will give you the skills you’ll need to set your dog up for future success.
From leash walking to an automatic recall, this class covers a ton of valuable dog behavior skills to ensure your pup is a well-mannered family member.
Each session will be filled with valuable positive reinforcement cues, fun games, and training information that the whole family will find fun, informative, and practical for everyday life with your four-legged friend.
We’ll cover:
- Cues including (but not limited to) sit, down, stand, stay, come, leave it, heel, close, and watch
- An extremely reliable recall using a whistle
- Loose leash walking
- Scent games to bring out your dog's inner genius!
- Troubleshooting common problems including pulling on leash, potty training, and jumping
- Crate training
- Preventing future behavior problems
Note: If your dog has displayed any aggressive behavior or excessive barking towards people or other dogs, this basic manners class is not an appropriate environment for your dog. Please contact us at info@peachonaleash.com to discuss the right training plan for you!
All families will be required to provide proof of dog’s up-to-date Rabies, Bordatella, and DHPP vaccinations in addition to proof of a negative fecal test.
Therapy Dog Prep Class
Cost: $225 for 6 weeks
Who: Dogs over 6 months of age
Dreamed of training your dog for therapy work?
A pet therapy certification opens the door for you and your dog to work with children, the elderly, in hospitals, and more.
Our Therapy Dog Prep Class is designed to prepare you and your dog to take a therapy dog certifying test.
A group class is required prior to taking the certifying test, and this class is designed to fully prepare you for it. We are proud to have never had a dog we’ve trained and approved fail the qualifying test.
Class Items Include:
- Sit/Stay, Down/Stay, and Recall from Sit or Down
- Walking on loose leash with you, with a stranger, and through a crowd
- Walking with distractions
- Fun tricks you can utilize on therapy visits.
- Teaching your dog to rest her chin on a person's lap on cue.
- Other test items relevant to the Happy Tails test.
- Optional: students may opt to take the Canine Good Citizen test on the last day of class.
Prerequisite: Family Dog 101 or private training
Reactive Dog Class
Cost: $299 for 5 weeks
Who: Dogs that bark and lunge at people and/or other dogs on leash.
Our reactive dog training class is a highly specialized training course created for dogs that are reactive on leash. You’ll get five small-group sessions, digital Q&A’s in between, and video critique by a trainer.
Reactive Dog Class – Online
Cost: $59 for 4 weeks
Who: Dogs that bark and lunge at people, cars, and/or animals on leash.
This online class is designed for reactive dogs. We’ve taken our renowned training protocol and created a structured, self-paced class that will give you unbelievable changes in your dog’s behavior and your own handling skills.
Recall Redefined – Online
Cost: $99 for unlimited access
Who: Puppies and dogs 8 weeks of age and up.
