Training Options

At Peach on a Leash, our on-site training options are designed to support dogs at every stage. Whether your dog needs immersive training, structured daytime support, or ongoing reinforcement, our programs provide consistency, clear communication, and professional handling in a real-world environment.

Each option below offers a different level of intensity and structure, allowing us to recommend the right fit based on your dog’s needs and your goals.

Book a Stay

Board & Train Program

Location: Milton, Gainesville & Lawrenceville

Our Board & Train Programs are our most immersive training option. Dogs stay with us and receive daily, structured training designed to build reliable obedience, manners, impulse control, and appropriate behavior.

This program is ideal for dogs who:

Need a strong training foundation or reset
Benefit from consistency and routine
Are working through more challenging behaviors
Require focused, distraction-rich training environments

Board & Train programs range from two to four weeks, depending on goals and progress, and include transition planning to support success at home.

Maintenance Stays

Location: Milton & Gainesville

Maintenance Stays are available exclusively to dogs who have previously completed a full Board & Train program with us. These stays allow dogs to return for continued reinforcement, skill polishing, or additional support during transitions.

This option helps:

Prevent regression
Strengthen reliability around distractions
Maintain long-term training success

Refresher stays are available for any length of time and continue the dog’s established training program.

Day Training

Location: Milton

Our Day Training program offers Board & Train–level training without overnight stays. Dogs attend during the day and return home each evening, making this a flexible yet highly effective option.

Dogs receive purposeful, hands-on training throughout the day, with skills reinforced organically through daily routines, transitions, and real-world scenarios.

This program can be scheduled:

On consecutive days for a more immersive experience
On a consistent weekly schedule for steady progress

Day Training is ideal for dogs who need focused training but do not require overnight immersion.

Daycare Plus

Location: Milton

Daycare Plus is daycare — elevated. This option provides structured enrichment, calm handling, and intentional routines while organically maintaining known cues and play skills.

Daycare Plus is not a formal training program and does not include one-on-one training sessions. Instead, it is designed for dogs who already have a training foundation and benefit from structure, boundaries, and professional supervision during the day.

This option is best for dogs who need:

Ongoing structure and engagement
Reinforcement of existing skills
A calm alternative to traditional daycare

This option is ONLY available to dogs currently in training or who have completed a training program with us previously and is offered on a limited availability.

Boarding Plus

Location: Milton & Gainesville

Our Boarding Plus option provides overnight care with intention. While no active training sessions are included, dogs are handled by our experienced staff in a calm, structured environment that supports existing training and appropriate behavior.

Structured Boarding is ideal for trained dogs who need:

Consistent routines while boarding
Professional handling and supervision
A setting that reinforces manners and boundaries

This option is ONLY available to dogs currently in training or who have completed a training program with us previously and is offered on a limited availability.

We were SO sad when our 6 training sessions with our (then) 9 week old golden retriever Dolly came to an end. Courtney was so amazing. She listened, cared, and was very invested in Dolly's progress. Not only that, but she successfully handled a last minute inclusion of our 5 year old for the first session, which isn't for the faint of heart.

Courtney accomplished what we were hoping for, which was a great foundation for our puppy (but mostly for us!) to make her a great dog for life. Within one session, Dolly was rolling with 4-5 commands. By the end of our 6 weeks, we were confident we all had the tools we needed. We'll miss Courtney's visits!

We do the in-house training and it has been and wonderful experience so far. They have amazing training techniques, all are working very well. We had a puppy who could not go potty outside and now she is, and is learning new commands every training visit.

Highly recommend Peach on a Leash! My dog, Archie, and I worked with Kailin for a few months and she was fantastic. She was very patient with Archie and took the time to show me how to replicate her training with him myself. She always provided post session notes with everything we discussed.
